The third leg of the Culture Shock Tour finds PRIME Wrestling taking root in Moscow, Russia in the Olympic Stadium on February, 11, 2010! No doubt the wintry Russian weather will do very little to cool the fires that have started since the turn of the New Year. Not only can one expect incredible wrestling action, but also backstage hijinks the likes of which only the members of PRIME can provide.

Posted by Thomas C. Robinson on 4 Feb 2010

Things continued to get more and more heated in PRIME as the Culture Shock Tour rolled into the Peoples Republic of China, Shanghai. It’s safe to say that it was hardly a utopia backstage, or in the ring, as multiple factions and individuals all have been vying for more power within the federation. With several accusations being thrown about, including an ultimate major breach of contract and a firing, rehiring, firing, and rehiring, one can easily say this was a ReVolution one could not miss!

Big In Japan: Promotional Alliance Announced

Posted by Thomas C. Robinson on 23 Jan 2010

As the federation gears up for the second leg of its world tour, PRIME is looking to move into a new phase of marketing. While most organizations are satisfied with one-night-only international stadium tours, with the backing of the Board of Directors, PRIME is aiming to take things a step further. In one of the first deals of its kind, PRIME has officially entered into a talent-exchange with the up-and-coming Japanese promotion Go-Rin Puroresu (Five Rings Professional Wrestling, or FRPW) in an attempt to put down roots in the lucrative Japanese market. The negotiations to bring these competitors over was made before the power plays of King of Kings and made official by new boss Devin Shakur. Lisa Tyler, in her capacity as Vice President of Talent Relations, had the following to say regarding the deal:

Scandal in PRIME: Consequences Could Be Dire

Posted by Thomas C. Robinson on 4 Dec 2009

At a North Dakota IHOP on Tuesday night, Tony Gamble and three or four (our eyewitness couldn't really tell, they were all cramped into one side of the booth) Oompa Loompas were seen in a heated argument when the waitress brought everybody an order of short stack pancakes. All parties accused the other of pulling the practical joke and fisticuffs almost broke out. The Oompas proceeded to get into their clown car and drive away while Gamble jacked some six year old's hot wheel and fled the scene. The dispute caused Gamble to head back to his hotel and comment on his twitter page, berating the Oompas and calling them worthless. The Oompas responded by challenging The Grin to a race of any kind to prove their superiority. The 5 Star Champion has picked his stipulations and location: Mario Go Kart at ReVolution 214. He also made an open challenge to anybody in the world and two unlikely people have accepted...

Before the dust has even settled on a blistering ReVolution 207, a fresh announcement has been made with regards to the pre-PPV 208 show. This from the desk of Lisa Tyler:

"Given the nature of the 208 main event and its participants, an extra stipulation has been added to the match. With the potential for this encounter to balloon into destructive proportions this ruling has been made in a bid to curb such action and better serve the wrestlers involved.

Back on the Road Again

Posted by Thomas C. Robinson on 30 Aug 2009

Coming off the heels of Colossus VI, many were wondering what the PRIME landscape would look like. Rumors ran rampant about termination of a decent portion of the roster and other cost cutting measures in an attempt to bring PRIME out of the economic red. The first sign of change was evident on ReVolution 203. Lisa Tyler cut a deal with fX and reduced the program's air time to 90 minutes.

For those who showed up the Honda Center, that didn't mean the mayhem was reduced one iota.

They Said

"You had your moment in the sun all set up for you, douche. Your backyard. Your title. Breaking the Colossus curse. But you did what pretenders do: choke. And, let's be honest, that didn't surprise anyone. Devin Shakur is not a Universal Title holder. Good in the ring? Sure. Formidable? Most of the time. But you're not fit to hold the biggest belt of 'em all. And deep down, I think you know it. You were the preface to the Tsonda reign. Get the fuck over it."-ReV 174
